Fincid PA acts as opacifying agent, surfactant, cleansing agent and emulsifying agent. Fincid PA  is one of the most common saturated fatty acids whose hydrogenation yields cetyl alcohol, which is used to produce detergents, soaps and cleaning products in cosmetic industry. Fincid PA is used in beauty products and cosmetics formulation for a variety of properties like fragrance ingredient, thickening agent, gelling agent, stabilizer, emollient; emulsifier for facial creams and lotions etc.
