INCI NAME: Niacinamide

DESCRIPTION:

Finmin B3 is a white, crystalline, odourless powder with a low content of niacin. It is freely soluble in water and in alcohol, soluble in glycerol, and very slightly soluble in ether or chloroform. It is practically stable to air, light, and humidity. It is fairly stable in solutions and can be processed in cold or hot temperature up to 70°C. Recommended pH of the final formulation is 5-7.5. Strong acids or alkalis may cause hydrolysis to nicotinic acid. Finmin B3 is mainly used as a cosmetic ingredient in personal care products and in topical application.
