DESCRIPTION:

FINWAX OLIVE is vegetable emollient waxes with active properties to restore the lipidic structure of stratum corneum. It is vegetable waxes, obtained mainly from Olive oil.

ü      FINWAX OLIVE acts as a :

·         consistency factor

·         emollient

·         moisturizing

·         nourishing

·         texturing agent.

ü  It is obtained by hydrogenation of olive esters. It is non-greasy and helps to restore the lipids of the skin thanks to their composition in liquid wax-esters similar to stratum corneum.

ü  It melts at 40°C and provides good balance between consistency and soft spreading.

ü  It being a mixture of fully saturated esters is very stable versus oxidation.

ü  It penetrates very easily into the epidermis. It moisturizes and nourishes the skin.

ü  It increases the viscosity of the finished product without “soap effect”.

ü  It is oil-free. It gives “body” and “structure” to the formulations, while bringing them smoothness, “melting effect” and “pleasure”.

ü  It is excellent substitute for animal waxes (beeswax) or petroleum waxes (ozokerit, microcrystallin, paraffin wax). It is used in creams, lipsticks and other cosmetic care products.
